Unintentional or not , you have love the notes of Caravaggio in this hagiography: chiaroscuro, drama and frenetic energy evoke the proper visual analogy Hendrix’s music. If Merisi were around during the 1960’s, somehow I could see him ingesting a bunch of hallucinogens and listening to Jimi to produce something mind blowing.
